As a bonus, here are a few Family related bands...
The last EP from the Toe Rag session will be released by Johnny Bartlett’s Hillsdale label around the end of Winter 2001.
They recorded enough material for a whole LP (14 cuts) in December 2000.
Despite the band being (kinda) long gone, 2 more Eps will be coming out this year : « Walk on by (Dionne Warwick)/Anonymous & incompetent/Cold outside again/Beat,kick & strum » on Square Records (Spring 2001) and « The drawback (Warsaw)/The right to be rich & conservative » on a split EP with New York City’s own Hecklers on Rockin’ Bones in Italy (hopefully in the fall).
This cool record label owned by ex-Splash 4 Jacko & Lili is still active and will release pretty soon (4-2001) a 45 by another awesome Parisian band, Blutt. They play a mix of 60s & 70s punk rock & roll with some extra-cheese. They already did one killer 3-song EP last year (« Hors phase » Hee Haw).
